THE IDEA

Catchthedesk is a desk booking solution, a simple web based application designed to allow companies to better manage spaces, offices and desks in relation to both the pandemic (COVID-19, social distancing, contact tracing) and future attendance management needs.

The application, in fact, allows resources to book a desk daily, with a view to flexibility, allowing the presence in the office to those who need it most. At the same time, the application allows those present to check-in, certifying their presence in the office.

In case of need, it is therefore possible to know who was present in a specific office for each day (contact tracing over each office).

The application provides a first setup, useful for configuring the available company spaces (floors, offices, desks). For each floor and office it is possible to show a floor/office plan, in order to make the booking easier and more personalized.

Responsive design, brand customization (logo, colors, subdomain), company spaces management (floors, offices, desks and employees list)

For each desk, visibility of amenities, status (booked, reserved, free) and the name of the booker

Check-in service to confirm your actual presence in the office (based on IP address), with email reminder

Users can book multiple days (booking range customizable), selecting a desk for each day, even to meet different colleagues

Users can search for collegues in order to find them within the company or to book a nearby desk, promoting teamwork and collaboration

It is possible to create fixed links between users and private desks (e.g. help desk, HR, special workstations)

It's possibile to manage user teams, desk types (standard, priority, reserved...) and a booking limit for each user per week

Admins can view and extract the list of employees for a single day/period, throughout the company, on a floor, or in an single office (also useful in case of suspicious contact)

A dashboard provides an overview of spaces, teams and desks, presences' distribution during the week, future availability, bookings/checkin ratio
